We are delighted to announce that, thanks to the generous support from the New York State Council on the Arts, Hannah Selin has been awarded a grant to support CreArtBox in commissioning a new multimedia chamber work "The Soft Moon."
"The Soft Moon" is based on a short story from Italo Calvino's Cosmicomics, a fantastical and absurd series of modern myths that approach some of the deeper issues in modern society with a sense of humor. The opera explores the complex relationships between humans, technology, and nature, offering a unique perspective on these themes.
