The 2024–25 season is officially over

The 2024–25 season is officially over — and we couldn’t be more grateful.
Throughout the year, we performed some of the most vivid, moving, and inventive music ever written. From the timeless lyricism of Mozart’s Piano Quartet in E-flat Major to the stormy intensity of Mahler’s Piano Quartet in A minor, each piece offered a world to step into.
We explored the dark, glowing textures of Debussy’s Petite Suite and Violin Sonata, and the haunting tension in Brahms’ Piano Quartet in C minor.
Dvořák’s American Quartet pulsed with energy in a new arrangement for flute and strings, while Caroline Shaw’s Thousandth Orange connected tradition and experimentation with radiant clarity.
We premiered The Soft Moon by Hannah Selin, a work commissioned by CreArtBox that expanded our sonic landscape — and we reimagined Stravinsky’s Petrushka in a new chamber adaptation that brought the ballet’s folk chaos to an intimate stage.

We also honored the beauty and complexity of Spanish music with works by Joaquín Turina, Enrique Granados, Antonio Soler, and Manuel de Falla, alongside the powerful voice of Andrea Casarrubios, whose pieces Mensajes del Agua and Afilador anchored the season with emotional depth.

It all happened thanks to:
— Our incredible artists and collaborators
— An audience that showed up, stayed curious, and filled the room with presence
— And generous support from:
 • New York State Council on the Arts
 • The Aaron Copland Fund for Music
 • NYFA / QCA (Queens Arts Fund)
 • Flushing Town Hall GO Queens Grant
 • Festival ADAR (Spain)

Thank you for being part of this season.
We’ll see you soon — with new music, new ideas, and the same commitment to pushing the boundaries of performance.
