Visuality, a new show that merges live classical music, visual art, and technology is coming to Queens Theatre on December 3, 2016.

(Queens, NY) – On Saturday, December 3, the award-winning multidisciplinary music ensemble CreArtBox, will perform a show entitled VISUALITY at Queens Theatre. Directed by CreArtBox’s Guillermo Laporta and Josefina Urraca, the remarkable production fuses together a variety of art forms to create a wholly authentic, visually and aurally compelling experience.

VISUALITY is a spectacle that merges newly composed music with the visual arts and technology. The endeavor experiments with light and sound, intersecting them in their purest forms to create an atmosphere unlike any other. Painters, sculptors, choreographers, dancers, writers, and more are all integral to VISUALITY. Alongside the new compositions, concert-goers will also experience a masterfully performed classical repertoire, delving into the likes of Beethoven and Claude Debussy.

The music and visual art of VISUALITY are further intensified by the presence of cutting edge technology. The performance is 3D video mapped and augmented reality is utilized to enhance the space in which the show is presented. This type of theatrical flair is part of CreArtBox’s vision for performing music in a contemporary fashion. (That also means students will surely love VISUALITY. Hence, there will be a matinee for schools the day before the show.)

The December 3 show at the Queens Theatre will begin at 8:00 pm. All tickets are $25 and are available on www.queenstheatre.org or by calling the Queens Theatre box office at 718.760.0064. Queens Theatre provides free parking and a free shuttle bus service from the Mets – Willets Point subway stop.
