PRESS RELEASE: CreArtBox Announces Open Calls for Composers and Visual Artists for the 2025-2027 Seasons

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York, NY – FEB 4th – CreArtBox, the internationally recognized chamber music collective based in New York, has announced the launch of four major open calls for composers and visual artists as part of its 2025-2027 programming. These initiatives provide opportunities for contemporary creators to have their work performed in interdisciplinary productions integrating music, visual arts, theater, and multimedia. Selected artists will be featured in CreArtBox’s 2025-2027 season and international touring projects, reaching audiences across the United States and Europe.

Past editions of CreArtBox’s commissioning and residency programs have resulted in multiple $10,000 commissions, reinforcing the ensemble’s commitment to developing new work at the highest level. Additionally, past artists have received major commissions for outdoor sculptures in Spain, chamber operas in New York, and large-scale multimedia productions. CreArtBox has brought its interdisciplinary projects to audiences across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, establishing itself as a global leader in cross-disciplinary performance.

These opportunities are made possible through support from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), Amphion Foundation, and the Aaron Copland Fund for Music.

The four open calls include:

CA1: Call for Scores for International Composers (2025)

CA2: Call for Scores for American Composers (2025)
