Logo, colour, type
The logo files as SVG, the palette with hex values and contrast ratios, the two typefaces, and the measurements the layout uses. If a file you need is not here, write to info@creartbox.nyc.
The logo
| Respect zone | Clear space on every side equal to the height of the text box. Nothing enters it, including the edge of the page. |
| Minimum width | 120 px on screen, 30 mm in print. Below that, use the monogram. |
| Proportion | 7.18:1 for the horizontal wordmark. Scale it, never stretch it. |
| Over an image | Use the reversed logo on a dark or darkened area. The wedge keeps its amber. |
Do

Right. The reversed logo on a dark ground, with clear space around it.

Right. The primary logo on a light ground, for print and pale surfaces.

Right. Over a photograph, darken the area first. The logo sits on a scrim, not on the picture.
Don't
Each of these is the real logo file with one thing done to it.

Stretched. The proportion is 7.18:1. Scale it; do not distort it.

Squashed. The same error the other way. Set width or height, never both.

Rotated. The logo is always level.

Recoloured. Off-white and amber, or a single flat colour. Nothing else.

Effects. No shadow, no glow, no outline, no gradient.

Faded. To make it quieter, use a quieter ink - not transparency.

Retyped. Do not rebuild the wordmark in another typeface. Use the file.

Too small. Below 120 px wide, or 30 mm in print, use the monogram instead.

On a busy picture. The mark is unreadable and the photograph is spoiled.
Colour
Four surfaces, five weights of off-white ink, and one amber. Use the amber once per screen, on the thing you want clicked or read first. Festival ADAR uses the same palette with blue in place of the amber.

Ratios are measured against the ground each colour is actually used on, to WCAG 2.1. --papel-mudo falls below 4.5:1 and is therefore restricted to rules and icons; it is never used for text.
Typography
Literata
Used for titles, work titles and pull quotes. Work titles go in italic.
Titles: clamp(44px, 9vw, 104px) at a line height of 0.94.
Archivo
Used for body copy, labels, dates and tables.
Body: 17px at 1.62. Labels: 11px, weight 600, letter-spacing 0.16em, uppercase. Figures set with font-variant-numeric: tabular-nums so columns of dates and durations line up.
Both are open-source and free to install. Fall back to Georgia and Helvetica respectively.

All marks are SVG: they scale to any size without loss and can be recoloured only within the palette above. Click a name to download it.
Naming
reversed is light ink for dark grounds. primary and black are for light grounds. solid means one colour throughout, with no amber wedge. box means the mark is centred in a square, for icons.
