Tre Pezzi
Tre Pezzi brings together music and visual art in a concert experience that explores states of transition, vulnerability, and resonance. Presented by CreArtBox, the program features violinist Emilie-Anne Gendron and pianist Josefina Urraca in a program that traces a compelling arc from Classical clarity to late-Romantic intensity and contemporary expression.
At the core of the evening are two landmarks of the violin repertoire: Beethoven's Violin Sonata No. 2 in A major, a work of elegance and balance that highlights dialogue and clarity, and the Violin Sonata in A major by César Franck, whose expansive lyricism and cyclical structure have made it a cornerstone of the violin repertoire. They sit alongside Lili Boulanger's Nocturne - five minutes of unbroken stillness - and Kurtág's Tre Pezzi, three miniatures that suspend the listener between gesture and silence.
