Musica de Cristal
Música de Cristal is a temporary artistic installation set in Plaza de Porlier, built around a glass greenhouse. Inside, a grand piano is enclosed within the transparent structure, becoming the heart of a scenic capsule in the urban landscape. Visitors can approach and listen through headphones connected to the greenhouse, as if tuning in to a silent presence whispering from within.
The installation evokes the suspended energy of an empty concert hall — just before or after a recital — without an audience, yet still echoing with the memory of the last chords.
At specific times, the installation comes alive with live music: two performances (at 9:30 PM and 11:00 PM) in which a flute and piano duo transforms the space into an intimate, shared concert.
The experience blends live music, immersive headphone listening, lighting design, visual projections, and a soundscape that expands into the plaza. The transparency of the glass turns each performance into an open, permeable experience, allowing the public to surround the installation and discover a sonic space in dialogue with the city.
A poetic and ephemeral experience that merges music, architecture, visual arts, and public space, inviting visitors to rediscover the city from a new perspective.
