Established in September 2016 this series is designed to reach new audiences combining classical chamber music, new pieces by living composers, and New York-based ensembles and soloists, such as electric violinist, Todd Reynolds, composer and video artist, Luke DuBois, or Le Train Bleu Ensemble.

Program

On January 26th at 7: 30 pm, CreArtBox will present the fifth edition of the CreArt Music Series at the New York Society for Ethical Culture.

CreArtBox continues its mission working with living composers presenting a new piece written by the American Composer, Joshua Penman.

PROGRAM:

1. Beethoven, Kakadu variations op. 121a.
2. Bryce Dessner, Murder Ballades.
3. Debussy, Petite Suite (arr. by Michael Webster).
4. Joshua Penman, Moontides (World Premiere).

The performance will include a brief pre-concert talk by the Beethoven scholar and biographer Lewis Lockwood, and a multi-media video mapping installation by designer Guillermo Laporta.

This unique evening will be accompanied by a reception with food and wine in collaboration with KO Productions.
